Hello from Bush 

First post - More info will be here as school year starts. Im excited as we venture into Virtual Learning. 


Here is a little introduction for those wondering about my background. 

My Name is Tim Rogers.  This is my second year at Bush - I was the TECH Specialist for four years at ECS in Olympia before BUSH. I moved to Olympia in the 80's from Portland Oregon where I was born. I graduated from Capital High School in the 90's and have a BA in Communications with a Video/Radio emphasis from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.

I have a background in Technology, Graphic Design, Visual Production, Video, Web Design and Photography. I have over twenty years in industry in various communication and technology roles. I'v help positions in Colorado Springs, Chicago & Peoria IL, Athens Greece and Olympia, WA. I started teaching at SPSCC college in 2006 and also was the Technology Specialist at Evergreen Christian School from 2015-2019.

My family and I live in Tumwater and my wife works for the TSD as an ELL. I love Soccer and Photography and taking photos of nature, sports and Senior and Families. I am part of the Game Day staff for Seattle Sounders FC and won a national championship in soccer in College.

Bush CTE STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) classes provide a safe, and respectful classroom culture where students explore and engage into captivating  lessons intended to sharpen critical technology skills relevant for tomorrow's 21st century employee.
